Had a wonderful time visiting the cottage and taking photos around the trails and grounds. It’s a truly lovely place with spectacular views!
Thanks so much for showing us around the trails.I am eagerly anticipating doing some cross-country skiing this Winter. (Thanks too for pointing out the wild teaberries! I took some to my mother and she enjoyed them as well.)

My son, his wife, my sister, and her husband were the first guests at Bellevue Mountaintop Cottage over New Years weekend 2010. They loved the view, the charm, and the isolation and could see the gem in-the-making as Anna cleaned and organized her public rooms. The beds were comfortable, the rooms large, and the bathrooms great. We appreciated the overflow space for our houseful of guests. I wish Anna all the good fortune there is as she launches this business, and recommend her without reservation as a hostess and cook.
Just spent the weekend there with my husband and his brother and wife. Anna quickly became a “friend” we will likely visit again. She is the epitomy of a gracious hostess. We loved the turn of the century home and all its furnishings. I felt like I was spending the weekend with one of my grandmothers. Many of the furnishings were identical or similar to those of my grandmothers. The accomodations were great, the showers/bathrooms were new, and we were quite comfortable. Anna is a good cook and made whatever we wanted for breakfast.
We wish her well in her Bed & Breakfast future.
The skiing was most awesome! Our first day out was a “10″. Blue, cloudless sky, crisp temps, and just the right amount of snow. We loved the dining hall with its large fireplace to warm our cold fingers and toes, and there was always someone to chat with and share stories. Trails are goomed perfectly and the layout of trails was marvelous. No disappointments in our choices. We especially like the Lookout and Ridge trails and the trail around the lake.
We WILL come back.

We spent the Fourth of July weekend here and absolutely loved it. Anna is a great cook and a perfect hostess, the views are gorgeous, the house is charming, and the accessibility to the nearby state parks is unbeatable. We loved it so much we went ahead and booked another trip a few months in advance. We can’t wait to come back!
Can’t wait to share the news of this wonderful place with friends in the eastern US! What a fantastic location and great way to share your sense of place with others. All the best to you and this endeavor!

As a result of a business contract in the area members of our firm spent 5 weeks w/Anna.
The hotels were full and overcharging for what they were offering. The rooms looked ok, the environment was always noisey and they offered next to nothing for breakfast.
Exhausted looking for a place for an extended term, that offered clean, comfortable space for several members of our staff I started looking at Bed and Breakfasts in the local area.
After contacting and looking at a few, I found Anna at Bellevue. I am really glad I did. The Bellevue rooms are very inviting. The property inside and out was clean and peaceful. Anna made the guys the breakfast they requested and got them out the door on time everytime.
Even thourgh our stay was work related we did have a few occasions to take in the views around Bellevue. We did not have time to really enjoy the location or the finer points of the home itself.
My husband and I do plan to go back for a weekend of sking…now all we need is the snow.
As a manager, it is very important to me that our staff are located in safe, clean, restful, comfortable rooms when traveling. We got all of that and more while staying w/Anna.
Some may say that being 25 minutes away from the jobsite is a waste of time and gas. My feeling was it took the guys completely out of the environment and put them in a relaxing, calming place for a few hours of much needed rest.
Our customer was the receiptant of well rested crews each day. Our project was done on time, on budget and with glowing complements from the customer as to the performance level of our staff from the day they arrived to the day they left. That doesn’t happen if your staff does not get the rest they need to perform at their best everyday.
Some of the business decisions I make are better than others. The decision to put our staff at Bellevue is one of the best decisions I’ve made.
As projects open up in that area we will be calling Anna.
