Welcome!

Built around 1900, Bellevue was originally used as a Summer cottage for the Essick Hotel. Now it’s a lovely bed and breakfast, owned by Anna Alford, that caters to cross-country skiers and all-year-round hikers who wish to enjoy the beautiful views of the Endless Mountains. Anna Alford grew up on this mountaintop and although she’s lived many other places she keeps coming back to the place she calls home. She looks forward to sharing her love of this special place with you. Anna is also the manager of nearby Crystal Lake Ski Center.

DIRECTIONS:

From Hughesville take 220N 4.5 miles to Tivoli. Turn left onto Highland Lake Road at the Crystal Lake sign. At the top of the mountain turn right onto Genesee Trail. Drive 1/2 mile to Bellevue Cottage; the driveway is on the right just before the road makes a sharp left hand turn. If you are using a GPS or Google Maps do not follow any directions that take you via Rt 864 and Genesee Trail from Huntersville during the winter months—this section of the Genesee Trail isn’t maintained in the winter.
